Kibble is one of Scotland’s largest social enterprise businesses and leads by example to young people, proactively encouraging their entrepreneurial spark and supporting them in developing valuable life skills in business, finance and leadership.
Student-Led Social Enterprises
Through our education and training centre, The Skills Academy, young people gain qualifications, work experience and employability skills. The locations include our academy in Hillington, St Mirren’s SMISA Stadium as well as their Training Complex. Students can learn in a classroom or workshop area before applying their knowledge and skillset to a thriving Scottish Premiership football club or utilise their expertise to set up their own social enterprise, offering a valuable service to the local area. There is full support for young people to become entrepreneurs.
By inspiring young people to discover qualifications and training opportunities that they have a genuine interest in, their engagement in education increases along with greater self-confidence, self-esteem, all motivating them to become young entrepreneurs.
