Kibble Adoption - Kibble: Specialist services & support for young people facing adversity

Why Choose Kibble Adoption?

Kibble Adoption is a new service that was created in direct response to the needs of children requiring forever families in Scotland.

The development of this service is an extension to the range of excellent care services that are already provided by Kibble. Collectively, our services ensure that care and support is provided to children and young people who can no longer live at home with their birth families.

Kibble currently cares for children in the age range of 5 – 26, however Kibble Adoption has now created a pathway for adoptive parents to care for children from birth by working alongside all local authorities in Scotland and the rest of the UK.

Our Mission

Research shows that adoption not only enriches the lives of children and families but also brings significant benefits to the whole community. Kibble Adoption aims to have the best adoption support service in Scotland, available to all.

Partnership Working with Local Authorities

Kibble has evolved its services to include a new Adoption Service which will work in partnership with local authorities to address the current gaps in adoption. This includes the recruitment of adoptive parents, training and adoption support.

Kibble Adoption is committed to co-producing and designing services with local authorities to reduce the current post-code lottery that exists within the sector. By working alongside local authorities, the service will identify and tailor supports that are suited to the needs of each service to fill the gaps in current practice. This collaboration will in turn reduce the drift and delay of children’s plans currently being experienced in Scotland.
